Yes there is also a DS game the same but this has been tested on an Ipod Touch 3rd Gen.
Dark Void Zero, the spin off of 'not that good' Dark Void on consoles, is a game apparently from the Capcom archives, if it is it's the archive of Awesome Gaming Nostalgia, the game sees you as Rusty fighting off an army of aliens known as 'watchers' in order to open a portal and send them all back into the dark void! DUN DUN DUUUUUN! As a movie with Hanz Zimmer providing music would say. Rusty and Nikola Tesla must first go through 3 amazingly hard levels to complete the game, it sounds short but it's the kind of game you keep playing because it's so much fun! It perfectly copies old Nintendo console gaming, even at the beginning the game asks you to blow the dust off the cartridge to keep playing and the music and 8 bit graphics help complete the look.
Gameplay is good giving you a d-pad and jump and shoot buttons to navigate, you will also have access to a jet-pack most of the time however some parts don't allow them. You'll pick up a variety of weapons and power-ups along the way like a pistol that shoots rockets and a shield that lasts for 5 seconds. There are plenty of enemies to fight, like robots that even when you kill them, a smaller one jumps out, and plenty of environmental hazards like exploding cubes and lava, you get a certain amount of health and lives when you start and can pick up more as you go on, you also have to find checkpoints. Missions usually consist of a large map, full of enemies and hazards, you have to find key cards to get into other areas and eventually, in the last mission, have to blow up machines that keep the portal open.
Overall Dark Void Zero Gets a 9 out of 10. Our best review yet! We're giving it the AWESOME TROPHY!

| The NES style gameplay and graphics is awesome to say the least. |
| Although you can't physically do it on an ipod it's still magical. |
